Some new updates to our house!

My Mom, Duane, and Blake came for Labor Day weekend while Mommy worked. We got SO MUCH DONE! The boys golfed by day and worked at night. We replaced out kitchen faucet, the 2 hallway lights, the second kitchen light, and we got the CUTEST light to go above our Dining room table! My mom and I did some furniture shopping as well. We're trying to make our 2nd spare room a bedroom by February because we'll have plenty of guests needing a place to sleep!! We bought a new medicine cabinet for the spare bathroom, because it's operation DE GOLD THE SPARE BATHROOM!!! Check out the picture to see all of our new updates, check back soon, we'll be adding more pictures tonight!! :) Blake even helped. Oh and the pink Gerber daisy's behind the kitchen sink are real...Tommy bought them for me just because ;)

Our Engagement Party!

Engagement party 082

Pre Engagement party was YUM, we ordered our favorite Pizza and wings from MARKS of course! Tommy had a little bit of an ear ache but between Julie & My Mom he was cured by Party Day! Tommy & Duane played Farmer and gave some tractor rides as you can see below haha. My Dad and Julie did an incredible job, the party & food was AWESOME! As you can see in the pictures the main course was chicken...This chicken was SO DELICIOUS!! Julie and my dad went out of their way to make this day special for us. The wonderful photographer Katie took some great shots of Tommy and I around my dad's yard, unfortunately while we were gone the butterscotch monkey bread was GONE! We settled for the chocolate raspberry cake instead YUM!!! We laughed the next morning when we noticed all the pictures we took in the garage, haha for some reason people flocked there...I'm guessing it's because that's where the alcohol was. Most of the men played horse shoes, Tommy did pretty well...He even took a horse shoe to the foot, OUCH! We had a great time and cannot thank My Dad & Julie enough for all they did. We are so thankful to all our friends and family who came to show their Love and support for us, you all made our day Perfect & We Love you for that!!
