Happy Birthday Duane

Duane shared hs Birthday this year with Thanksgiving. So after we stuffed ourselves we managed to find room for his birthday cake. We spent a day at the beach the following day to swim off all those calories!

Black Friday, leftover day, Xmas count down day!

Mom & I Shopped all day, Tommy & Scott hung lights. The house looks great & Clark Grizwald did a fantastic job with the outside lights! Once we were all full from leftovers, it was time to decorate our tree!! Blake hung the first ball on the tree :) Tommy & Blake were a team, he would hand blake an ornament, she would hang it on the tree ( or drop and brake it) then say MORE, this repeated for a very long time, & they both loved every minute of it! As we sipped our toddies and listened to xmas music our house became a Winter wonderland. Now if we could just have some snow??? It was so nice having everyone here to help us make this holiday so special. New traditions were made and we're looking forward to replaying them year after year!

Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for. We were so lucky to be able to spend our holiday surrounded by family & friends that Love us so much! It was hands down all around the table the best thanksgiving dinner any of us had ever eaten! We can't get enough, we have been eating it over & over & over...Tommy & I decided we're having Thanksgiving once a month! Everything single thing we had was homemade from scratch. For appetisers we had Jalapenos cream cheese puffs,peperoni bread puffs, and baked brie. We had honey suckle turkey,Pumpkin Muffin Stuffing, from Pumpkin muffins we made earlier in the week specifically for this amazing recipe! Cranberry relish, sweet mashed potatoes, spoon bread corn bread ahhhh to die for!! Apple pie, Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin bars, Oatmeal cookies....YUMMMMOOO! It was nice to see Patty & the boys after dinner and finally get to meet Bobby. She's been telling me all about him for over a month now :) We're very blessed to have such caring, loving, and supportive people in our lives, and most importantly each other :) Looking forward to keeping the Thanksgiving tradition at our house for many years to come!!

Tamarac Turkey Trot 09'

Mom, Tommy & I woke up bright and early for the 29th Annual Turkey trot 5K. We were very proud of mom for coming in 3rd place for her age group! We're getting a little envious though, the last 3 5K's we've done, she's won! We had a really good time this year. We stayed for the awards and dancing, you'll see from the pictures some of us danced more than others ;)
