WEDDING!

Wow So what a crazy road we've been down...The past year of our lives went into planning what we thought at the time was "the perfect wedding in Key West" 5 days before the ship was to set sail Carnival informed us that there had been a change in the cruise itinerary and we would No Longer be porting in Key West!! What a disaster, or so we thought. We had plenty of breakdowns and tears before realizing the 80 guests who planned to be with us on our special day were coming and we needed to think fast, the wedding must go on! Shannon said it best when she said "when life give you lemons, add tequila and head straight for mexico" those words rang loud in my head the next 5 days as I re planned that perfect wedding in Cozumel, Mexico! I'm not going to lie, It WAS NOT easy but worth it, YES! For many reasons this disaster so became our beautiful disaster. I blindly put my faith into the hands of many Mexicans that week and not one of them let me down (besides my white tulle bamboo arch that somehow translated into an arch with a million tropical flowers on it haha) Everything was better than I could have ever imagined and I can honestly say it wouldnt have been half of what it was without the love and support of those 80 guests. Each and everyone of them were in the back of my mind giving me the strength and focus to re plan a wedding because if not for them what would have been the point? We can't begin to express the love we felt as each one of those guest boarded the Carnival Destiny and took this journey with us. Thank god for Shannon & Mom because without their Love and Support,I don't know if I could have done it. I mean seriously they were on a plane the next day and it was operation MEXICO WEDDING! We did it, as a team. This was a blessing in diguise for so many reasons. We learned, if we can get through this, we can get through anything. We learned that no matter what we have the love and support of so many friends and family members, and last but not least that Love conqors all. We did it and couldnt be happier about the outcome. You'll notice in the pictures this was truely a fiesta. A celebration of family friends love and overcoming bumps in the road. We all took a leap of faith, or "the plunge" together :) We Love you all!!!!
